Celebrating lazy Sunday morning…after all night cricket match…..with some crrrrrunchy Chana Dal Pakore!! 🙂
Method: Slice onions thinly.
Soak Chana dal for an hour. Grind it into a paste ( I like to keep it slightly coarse/dardara ) along with some ginger and whole red chillies.
Add sliced onions, along with finely chopped green chillies and dhania into the ground dal.
Also add red chill powder and salt to taste and mix nicely.
Fry small oval shaped balls in medium hot oil.
Drain on paper towel.
Serve hot sprinkled with chat masala along with spicy green chutney!
Friends…and if you want to go the healthy route you can make them in the appe pan, just cover and cook…so that they cook all the way through!
