Chinese Pakore

A quirky fun recipe from mom, that takes me back to my childhood….these fusion pakoras are irresistibly yum! You will need 2 cups cabbage tightly packed1 capsicum2-3 finely minced green chillies (optional)1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.3/4 cup corn5-6 heaped tbsp besan5-6 heaped tsp corn starch1/2 cup ground poha2 tsp green chilli sauce2 tbsp light soy sauce( or 1 tbsp dark soy sauce)Salt and red chilli pwdr to taste.1 tsp baking pwdrA pinch of baking soda (optional)Finely shred cabbage. Slice capsicum thinly. Mix all ingredients together, except the ground poha. Let the mix rest for 20 minutes. It will start to become slightly watery as the vegetables will give out some water. Now add the ground poha to bring the mix together. Drop small lumps of mix into hot oil. Cook on medium heat till golden! serve these crrrunchy treats hot with your fav chilli sauce and ketchup!
