DHANIA PARSLEY HERB DAL

Method:
Pressure cook 3/4 cup arhar/toor daal with 1/4 cup Moong dal, haldi, salt and 3 1/2 cup water. Give two whistles. Allow to cool. Open and stir gently. Add a fistful each of finely chopped dhania, parsley and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Heat 2 tsp ghee, add a hefty pinch of hing, a tsp of jeera. Once the jeera crackles, add sliced green chillies, finely chopped ginger and cook for a minute. Add this tadhka over the the simmering dal, finish with a squeeze of lime if u like..serve hot with garma garam Roti/Chawal!

PS: if you like you can also add 1/2 tsp red chilli pwdr to the tadhka.
