An indulgent yet healthy option for your vrat snacking!
For the potato filling: Boil and mash smooth 3 potatoes. Using a mortar pestle pound 3-4 curry leaves, 1-2 green chillies and 1/2 piece of ginger into a rough paste. Heat 2 tsp oil, add a tsp of cumin. Add the pounded paste and cook for a minute. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric and salt to taste along with the mashed potato. Mix in a tbsp of chopped fresh dhania.
For the Kuttu Batter: Make a thin but coating consistancy batter with kuttu ka atta and water. Add salt, red chilli pwdr and finely chopped dhania.
For making the bonde: Make small round balls with the potato filling.
Dip each ball in the kuttu batter and cook in app pan using a couple of drops of oil.
Cook on medium high heat till crisp on both sides and serve hot with spicy hari chutney!
