Microwave No-Fry Golgappe / Puchkas with Sprouts!

Method:

For the microwave golgappe/puchkas
Place dry ready to fry golgappe/puchke on a plate lined with a napkin or paper towel. Microwave for 25 seconds. Open and check. Then subsequently microwave in 5 seconds bursts….checking and transferring those that are done.

For the filling
Boil, peel and chop potatoes sprinkle with salt, red chilli pwdr and bhuna hua jeera. Steam moong sprouts lightly with some jeera, ginger and green chillies.

You will also need
Imli ki chutney
Phenta hua/whipped dahi

For bringing it together
Crack a whole in the puchka, fill with a little potato and some sprouts. Top with dahi and imli ki chutney. Final sprinkle of red chilli pwdr and jeera, done…..eat immediately!

    My dad got these dry puri packet from India few months ago. I dumped it in the refrigerator not wanting to deep fry. Thanks to your awesome idea of microwaving, the packet was gone over the weekend. Thanks!

      These were brought from India. You can try looking for them in the papad aisle of your Indian super market.
