Chop 1 onions, 2 peppers and some chillies (optional).
Boil 1 1/2 cup macaroni till just soft (slightly eldente), drain and keep aside.
Reserve a cup of pasta water.
Heat oil and add the onions, sauté till transparent. Then follow with the peppers.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add a can of baked beans.
Also add the cooked macaroni
and mix gently to combine.
Add freshly cracked black pepper
and some crushed red pepper (optional)
Taste pasta, adjust salt as needed.
Sprinkle with cheese….
And make it a liberal thick layer! 🙂
Cover pan with a lid and reduce heat.
After 5 minutes, remove cover…garnish with chopped parsley,
cheese would have melted…Yummy Skillet Macaroni Hot Pot…ready to eat! 🙂
