What is SOW (Strike out the White)
The SOW initiative is an effort to sow healthy eating habits in my family by choosing healthier meal options.
We want to try avoid foods that have been processed and refined, like white flour, white rice, pasta, noodles, white bread, crackers, cereal, and simple sugars like table sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Instead the focus will be on whole grains, fresh fruits, salad, green vegetables and lean meats !
CREATIVE IDEAS For SOW Day 6
Breakfast: Yellow Moong Dal Chilas
and a slice of Eggless Multigrain Date Walnut Cake with a cup of tea.
Lunch: Grilled Sprouts Sandwich, Bombay style
and a bowl of Tomato Rasam.
Dinner: Alu-Methi Sprouts ki Sabzi
with Yellow Dal and Roti along with some Dahi and Papad.
