An absolute fav with me…a must try!
Method:
Wash 500 gms Fish fillets (I used Tilapia) with a splash of vinegar. Pat dry. Cut fish into small 1 1/2 inch pieces.
Sprinkle generously with salt, 1 tsp red chili pwdr, 1/2 tsp. amchoor and 1/2 tsp haldi along with 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
Coarsely pound 1 tsp dhania seeds and 1/2 tsp ajwain and add to the mix.
Let fish marinate for a couple of hours.
Then sprinkle liberally with besan. Add some water to make a thick paste that coats the fish.
Heat oil in kadhai. Deep fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle with chat masala and serve hot along with sliced lemon and hari chutney..Yum yum!
