Rich melt-in-the mouth and completely irresistible!
These quick n easy laddus are made from lightly roasted sesame seeds and rich khoa and are easy enough to make even by those new to cooking!
Ingredients to make Til Bugga:
340 gms Khoa
170 gms till
150 gms bura/ground sugar
1/2 tsp ground cardamom (optional)
Method: Dry roast til lightly on medium heat for 8-10 minutes till they fluff up slightly and turn aromatic.
But they should not change color significantly. Remove from pan and transfer to a bowl.
Meanwhile, start roasting the khoa on medium heat…stirring constantly till it starts to leave the sides of the pan and begins to come together, about 8-10 min.
Once cool, grind the til to a slightly coarse powder, but do not make it too coarse either.
Now mix the ground til and chini ka bura with the lightly roasted khoa while it is still slightly warm. If you like you can add 1/2 tsp ground cardamom to the mix.
Once all the ingredients are mixed nicely, roll them into smooth balls.
I like my Til Bugga in their most simple avatar…sans any adornment.
But if you like, feel free to decorate with a slice of almond on top.
