Some useful pointers to keep in mind while making Bacon….
Start the bacon in a cold pan, placing the strips in the cold Pan and then turning heat to medium-low flame. Once the bacon begins to release some of its fat, it start to curl, use a set of tongs to loosen the strips, pressing down and turning slices to cook evenly on each side till they become crisp. Remember it continues to cook a little in the residual heat, even after you stop cooking…so be careful not to over cook! Lay the cooked pieces on a paper towel to drain. Also…Pour off the bacon fat between batches so your slices aren’t swimming in grease!
