Kanda Vada Toast

The Classic Bread Pakora with a Royal Twist! When you combine two great dishes, Medu Vada and Bread Pakora into one…it creates Magic!

Method:
Soak 1/2 cup udad dal for 2 hrs. Grind into a fine paste using minimal water along with a small piece of ginger and a couple of green chillies. Now whip the udad dal batter till light n fluffy. Add finely chopped onions, green chillies, chopped dhania, red chilli pwdr and salt to taste. Also cut bread slices into triangles.

Spread the seasoned batter on one side of the bread pieces

Be sure to spread a thick liberal layer

Immerse into hot oil with the batter side facing down

Fry on medium high heat till golden

Drain on paper towel

Serve hot with ketchup/chutney and garma garam chai! 🙂
