Aam ki Launji

A Delicious tangy accompaniment to pooris and paranthas…it’s a quick n easy way to zest up your meal!

Method: Heat 2 tsp ghee/oil. Add 1/2 tsp of coarsely pounded methi seeds and 1 tsp coarsely pounded saunf. Follow with 2-3 dry red chillies broken into pieces.

Now add peeled and cubed pieces from 2 raw green Mangoes. Add salt to taste. Cover and cook for 6-7 min till mangoes just begin to get soft.

Now add 2-3 tsp of sugar. Amount of sugar will depend on how tart your mangoes are. If your mangoes are not sour enough…you can also add a pinch of amchur or some lemon juice towards the end.

Enjoy with alu-poori parantha meal!
