For the Curry

  • Chopped tomatoes 2 cups
  • ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • green chilli 1
  • kasoori methi 1/2 tsp
  • Cream/malai – 1/4 cup
  • 1/2 tsp haldi
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhania powder
  • Cashews – 1/4 cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 tsp (optional)
  • Salt to taste
 For the Koftas

  • ginger finely chopped 1/2 tbsp
  • green chilli 1
  • cornflour 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped cashews 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • oil for frying
