Method:
Thickly slice about 1/2 cup ginger (I used a vegetable peeler) Add 1 1/2 cup water and bring to boil. Drain out water and reserve. Add another 1 1/2 cup water, bring to boil, drain water and reserve.
Now take 1/2 cup loosely packed Basil/Tulsi leaves and some gur (jeaggery) and pound together to make a coarse paste. Also add 3-4 pods of cardamom to the mix if you like. Add the pounded herb paste to the hot ginger water. Let infuse for 5 minutes…strain and enjoy!
