Spicy & Pungent… Fresh Green Garlic has a unique aroma & flavor and is a coveted winter treat! I love adding it in soups n stews, but using it as filling in stuffed rotis was….even more yummmmy!!
Method:
For the filling….
Finely chop green garlic (the pods and the green leaves) and mix with finely chopped methi leaves.
Add grated ginger, thinly sliced green chillies, finely chopped onions, salt, red chili pwdr and ajwain.
To make the roti….
Stuff the above filling into balls of atta dough, just like any other stuffed Roti/Parantha. Roll out into a thin even circular shape. Roast/shallow fry on hot Tawa….enjoy!
I love this along with a bowl of lauki/Tori and dahi!
