A Quick flavorful Karele ki Bhurji elevated by the addition of a few simple ingredients…taking it to whole new level!
A must try for karela lovers!
Method:
Slice karela lengthwise and thinly slice. Toss with salt and keep aside for 2 hours. Wash and drain.
Heat oil, add jeera and splutter. Follow with sliced onions. Cook till they turn transparent.
Add the sliced karela and stir fry on medium high for 2-3 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes till Karela become tender.
Remove cover, increase heat to medium…add lightly roasted besan, red chili pwdr, amchoor, coarsely pounded dry roasted saunf and dhania seeds. Taste and add a little salt if needed.
Bhuno Sabzi for 4-5 minutes…till the karela slices become crisp….ready!
