Moong ki. Dal ki Pakori
Crrrunchy Spicy Pakoris, topped with thick julienne of fresh mooli and finished off with a liberal sprinkle of Kala Chat masala..What a delicious way to start the weekend!

Soak moong daal for 3-4 hours.
Drain the dal and coarsely grind it with some ginger, green chillies and fresh dhania.
Add some finely chopped onion and garlic (optional).
Mix in salt, red chilli powder, dhania powder and amchoor.
Heat oil in kadhai on medium high flame. drop small balls into the oil.
Reduce flame to medium and fry till golden brown.
Drain on a paper towel.
Sprinkle kala chat masala, while hot!
Enjoy with garma garam chai….Mmmm!

For the Mooli garnish:
Thickly julienne / grate mooli. Toss with lemon juice, finely chopped dhania and some kala chat masala.

    • You can use yellow moong dal only or a combo do yellow and green moong dal in the ratio of 2:1
