The Indian Equivalent to Pancakes…hum sab ke Man-Pasand Malpue!
This recipe gives fabulous results…yet is super easy to execute! A lovely addition to your festive table, that is sure to impress!
Method:
Milkmaid : 1/2 tin
Sooji : 100 gm
Maida : 50 gm
Paneer : 50 gm
Water : about 1 cup
Rice flour : 1 tbsp
A pinch of baking powder
ghee for frying
Combine above ingredients into a smooth batter. Batter should be of the consistency that it spreads on it’s own accord…but not too thin. Make Malpuas using ghee on a nonstick pan. Immerse each for a few seconds in 1 tar chashni (with crushed cardamom & kesar added), decorate with nuts and serve.
To kick it up a notch…serve with rabri, a match made in heaven!
