Here’s a Delicious Healthy Savory Spin on the Classic French Toast….was an instant hit with the family! 🙂
Method:
Take 2 eggs, 1/2 cup butter milk/yoghurt, 1 tbsp grated cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup grated veg of choice… you can take carrots, peppers, zucchini etc. I used zucchini. Add some finely chopped green chillies, chopped parsley/dhania, salt n pepper to taste. Whisk into a homogeneous mix.
Quickly dip bread slices into the mix on both sides.
Make sure to cover bread generously with the mix.
Cook on hot pan using a little olive oil till golden
Flip and cook on other side.
Serve hot with ketchup!
