What is SOW (Strike out the White)
The SOW initiative is an effort to sow healthy eating habits in my family by choosing healthier meal options.
We want to try avoid foods that have been processed and refined, like white flour, white rice, pasta, noodles, white bread, crackers, cereal, and simple sugars like table sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Instead the focus will be on whole grains, fresh fruits, salad, green vegetables and lean meats !

Menu for Day 24
Breakfast: Honey Wheat Bread
with butter/Jam and a cup of Tea.
Lunch: Hare Lahsun ki Roti
with Punjabi-style Tori ki Sabzi and dahi.
Dinner: Moroccan Chickpea Stew
along with Spinach Hummus and Toasted Homemade Pita.
