It’s also the season for stews & soups….and they call for some freshly baked bread sticks or garlic knots to give them company! My family is especially BIG on them soup or not….and it’s our little guilty indulgence. 🙂

Also as not everyone is into spending a whole lot of time in the kitchen, I’ll share a couple of options with you! You could use store bought frozen/pizzeria bought pizza dough or make your own! I like to use a mix of all purpose and whole wheat-flour…as it gives nice robust results! 🙂

Method:

Make your dough using my pizza dough recipe (using recipe given towards the end of this post. Or you could also use store bought dough.
Roll out into a flat disc.

Cut long strips.

For bread sticks, hold the two ends of each strip and twirl in opposite direction. Place the twirled strips on a greased baking sheet.
For the garlic knots, fold the strips into loose knots and place on greased baking sheet.

Also let shaped dough proof for a good 20 minutes….till the knots/bread sticks look puffy….as shown in the close up below!
