My Breakfast for the second day of Detox…Also an easy idea to incorporate more greens into your diet….detox or not!
It is difficult to decide whether these spinach tikkis are more healthy or more delicious! One bite and you will be hooked! Source: Mom-in-law
Method:
Take one boiled and peeled potato, 2 cups spinach finely chopped, a tsp of grated ginger, a tsp of minced green chilli, 1/4 tsp dhania pwdr, 1/4 tsp amchoor, 1/4 tsp chilli pwdr and salt to taste.
Mash potato untill smooth
Cook spinach in a non stick pan with a spray of oil till most of the moisture evaporates….till it becomes about 1/2 cup cooked spinach.
Mix the spinach with the mashed alu and spices.
Form into round flat tikkis
Cook with the lightest spray of oil on medium high
Cook till golden…Serve hot with chutney/ketchup!

I would try this using sweet potato instead of potato. Sweet potato being low glycemic and good carbs.
